FAQ 1: Do you provide travel insurance for domestic Canadian trips?
We sure do! Canada is the second-largest country in the world (physically), after all. Flights can still be long (or cancelled) and we certainly feel better with travel coverage.
FAQ 2: What kind of travel medical insurance do you cover?
It depends on the travel insurance plan that you get, but it’s possible to buy coverage for:
- Emergency medical services
- Flight and travel accidents
- Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption
You can buy travel medical coverage as high as $5 million. Your premiums are likely to change depending on where your trip will take you, or if you’re staying inside Canada.
FAQ 3: How much is the average travel insurance quote?
We need to take a quick moment to say that rates can change significantly depending on your age, your destination, pre-existing health conditions, the duration of your trip, and the number of people insured throughout your travel.
With that said, here are some ballpark figures to give you an idea on costs:
- $20 for a young child during 7-10 days of travel.
- $40 for a 35-year-old couple during 7-10 days of travel.
- $70 for 2 parents and 2 kids for about a week.

FAQ 4: How does your all-inclusive holiday package work?
Excellent question. Here are the most important points to keep in mind about this coverage:
- Emergency Medical Insurance—worldwide with a maximum coverage up to $5 million
- Benefits include licensed ambulance, emergency dental expenses, prescription drug reimbursement, emergency medical transport, family transportation expenses, out-of-pocket expenses, unexpected birth of a child, air travel delay expenses and more.
- Up to the sum insured for trip cancellation or up to $25,000 for trip interruption. Covered risks include unexpected medical conditions (including medical conditions caused by or related to COVID-19) and/or death of you, your traveling companion, your family member or your traveling companion’s family member, natural disaster, travel advisory, self-quarantine/self-isolation, earlier or later departure or cancellation of your common carrier, involuntary job loss, the non-issuance of a travel visa and more.
- 24-Hour Accident up to maximum coverage $25,000
- Baggage Insurance up to $500
