Q. How is my credit score used?

For property insurance premiums in Ontario, we’re able to run a soft credit score based on your name, date of birth and current address. The soft credit score is behind the underwriting scene and not visible to any broker or to you, the insured. Your score would never negatively impact the underwriting of the policy or increase your rates. In fact, you will save automatically with credit consent and possible further savings based on your score.
